ABOUT SOUTH COAST FARMS CSA
South Coast Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program was established in 2000 by farmers George and Rebecca. For those of you who are not familiar with the CSA concept we here at South Coast Farms like to describe it as a partnership between a food grower (us) and a food consumer (such as yourself)! Generally the partnership is between a local organic farm and a community of supporters that together wish to preserve the agricultural life and heritage of their community as well as guarantee for themselves a reliable, healthy and safe source of food.
Our CSA members can choose to receive a Regular or Large size basket of seasonal organic foods once a week or bi-weekly.
A Regular basket averages about 15-17 different items. A Large share averages 17-22 items. The Large baskets also include more of certain items.

Starting this Spring, hopefully in mid-February, Members will be able to add produce items from our on line store to enhance their weekly or bi-weekly shares if so desired.
The On Line Store prices will be the same as our Farm Stand prices. In addition to certified organic fruits and vegetables we will also be offering certified organic, real free range eggs from Eben-Haezer "Happy Hens," our friends in Ramona, California. We will also offer Certified Organic Grass Fed & Finished Beef from our own ranch in North Dakota. However, the Beef will be for farm pickup or home delivery only.
Tentative launch date for our On Line Store is mid February.
We will also be starting up Home Deliveries in Spring. These can be any combination of produce, eggs and beef. The Home deliveries will be launched in Spring 2017 and will be available to the communities of San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Capo Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel and Mission Viejo.
Deliveries will require a $100.00 minumum
CSA payment & refund Policy
Payments: We use an web-based software program called Farmigo to help manage the financial interactions between our customers and our farm. With it, South Coast Farms csa subscribers have online access to their own accounts, with the exceptions of changing email addresses or requesting vacations. We accept payment via credit card.
All sales are final.
Vacations: If you can’t pick up your box on a given week, why not tell a friend to pick up your box while you’re gone.
we donate unclaimed baskets to non profit shelters of our CHOICE.
If you’re going on a vacation, we can make arrangements. We need a full 7 days notice for vacation credits. Email or call us and we can work it out.
PLEASE observe the pick-up times carefully. Doors may be locked or hosts out during other times. We do not coordinate or recommend after hours pickups.
Don’t take a box if one doesn’t have your name on it. All boxes are labelled; if there isn’t one there for you, there’s probably a reason why. If you have someone pickup for you, do not forget to inform them of this policy.
